And a team at one of our recent trivia events proved that fostering DEI results in innovation and success, even in some unexpected ways. Anywhere League live quizzes consist of five rounds of trivia questions on a variety of subjects, and this team relied on their diverse experiences to take home first prize.

The American Immigration Council team members were nervous at the start of the game, “We don’t know any of these answers…” It was their first time playing live trivia with us. This team is no stranger to DEI and belonging, it’s a primary pillar of initiative in their organization, and after a brief description on how they should trust their instincts and have faith that their own backgrounds were relevant in the quiz, they were well on their way. 

The team that began feeling like they didn’t have a hope quickly leaned into their practice of utilizing individual skill sets and ended up WINNING the game! That example might seem rather, well, trivial, but DEI can make a huge impact in all areas of your organization.
